The museum's main exposition is devoted to the events of March 1943, when the Czechoslovakian battalion under the command of lieutenant colonel Liudvik Svoboda along with Soviet soldiers held the line near the Mzha river in order to slow down the attack of the Nazi troops towards Kharkiv.
