Varvara Karynska. From spindle to Oscar

There is an exciting excursion "Varvara Karynska. From spindle to Oscar." dedicated to the past of Kharkiv city and our country on the example of one family.This is Zhmudski family, which has a rather high position in society and is known for its charity and active social activities. Varvara Karynska, the legendary costume designer and owner of the Oscar award was born in this family in 1886.

Object of the show: Zalopanska Sloboda; houses of the historical center of Kharkiv city; the K. Shulzhenko Museum of Famous Kharkiv people.
